The ability of organization to survive is determined
by ability to change or adapt with potential change that will happened in
period to come. Change and development of organization is generally determined
by factors which interact. Its elementary principle is a set of assess,
assumption, and ethics emphasizing at human orientation and its commitment to
organizational effectiveness.
The purpose of
this research is to build change and development model of Islamic State
University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta organization, trough causality analysis
influencing factors; organizational culture, leadership, government policy,
innovation adoption, and quality service.
This research is
done to 200 lecturers, including lecturer getting additional duties as head of Islamic
State University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Data netted through questioner structured
scale by 32 dimensions and 73 questions item. The gathered data is analyzed through
Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis by using peripheral of AMOS.
This research shows that, cultural model
organization, leadership, government, innovation adoption and quality service
are fit with empirical data, so that can be made as change and
development model of organization. Its mean, if there is improvement at
cultural factor organization, leadership, government policy, innovation adoption
and quality service, hence change and development of organization up at which
are positive.

As logical consequence
from more and more universities, claiming friction of management of more
orienting paradigm from oriented profit toward oriented customer, hence quality
factor service, cultural organization, and innovation adoption require to be
defended and improved. For that Islamic State University Sunan Kalijaga
Yogyakarta require to create health organizational, formulate mission-vision,
and educational system to prepare the quality of grad as according to study
program and developed science. This research also can be made as change and
development organization model by conducting strategic steps as follows: (1)
developing awareness about existence of requirement to change, (2) developing
awareness to participate and support the change, (3) having ability to
implement that change, and (4) conducting reinforcement so that the change
remain to take place.
